What happens to a house left on its own
These are not hypotheticals. This is what happens every winter in a closed-up house that nobody visits.
Frost in the pipes
Two nights below zero are enough. The pipe cracks as it thaws, and water pours into an empty house with nobody to shut off the supply.
The power cut
The circuit breaker trips. The freezer defrosts, the pool pump stops, the frost-protection heating no longer heats. You will find out when you arrive in July.
Wind and storms
A blown-off roof tile, a torn-off shutter, a blocked gutter. At the foot of Pic Saint-Loup as along the coast, a winter storm always leaves something behind.
Damp and mould
A closed house cannot breathe. Walls get spotted, fabrics become impregnated, and a musty smell greets you on arrival.

What we do, in practice
No vague promises. Dated visits, sensors that speak up, and photo proof of every visit.
- We visit, and we prove it: every visit ends with a dated photo report sent to your phone. You see your home without being there.
- We air and heat the house: it breathes, and picks up neither damp nor a musty smell.
- We collect the mail: an empty mailbox means a house that doesn't look abandoned.
- We let in tradespeople: plumber, roofer, pool technician. You don't have to drive four hours to open a door.
- We coordinate maintenance: garden, pool, cleaning. One point of contact, one invoice.
- We prepare your arrival: clean house, beds made, heating on, water turned on. You put down your suitcases and you are on holiday.
And between two visits, the house talks to us
We install technical sensors, discreet and wireless. They do not monitor people: they monitor the building. As soon as a value goes outside the normal range, we are alerted. We let you know right away and we come over.
An alarm sounds in an empty house and nobody hears it. A sensor alerts us, and someone comes over. That is the whole difference.

Installation of the sensor pack: €149 one time (equipment and fitting included). The sensors stay with you: if you leave us, they are yours. External tradespeople (gardener, plumber, pool specialist) invoice you directly for their work: we select them, open the door for them and follow the job, but we take no margin on their work. Prices valid for the towns we serve, excluding properties over 200 m².
